I don't use remote start often. When I do, there is a good chance it will shut itself off within a very short time.
Yesterday, I hit remote start as I walked to my Jeep while it was charging in a parking lot. As I got close to the Jeep, I could hear the fans humming to heat the Jeep up. Then, just before I started to unplug it, it went quiet, and the remote start was ended.
This happens randomly. Sometimes I hear it remote start, but it's shutoff when I get to it, other times it seems to shutoff when I'm within close proximity. I thought this may have something to do with the proximity sensors, but that's not what triggers the shutoff every time.
Still, there are plenty of times where it works fine, and it's still in remote start as I climb into the Jeep... Bluetooth picks up my phone before I sit down and starts playing music.
Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix?
