Remote start failure aux batt disconnected

Question... diconnected aux battery pulled fuze 42 now only on main battery. Does this effect remote start or does it mean main battery low?

Any answer appreciated!!

Isolating the aux battery will have no effect on remote start - I remote start mine daily this time of year and I isolated the aux battery last summer.

You've got a different issue preventing the remote start.

Phrank, thanks, thought so! Will hve to try remote when Jeep all warmed after a bit of driving? Probably weak main first start?

You've got a different issue preventing the remote start.

Agreed. And what you say is the case @Phrank because the vehicle has no idea that you've disconnected the Aux battery (or not) when you pull Fuse 42, which, in doing so, prevents the vehicle from isolating the Aux battery.

There is to my knowledge no monitoring by the vehicle of the circuit controlled by Fuse 42, to know that it is conducting electrical current or not, or the state of the Power Control Relay (PCR) that it energizes when intact, to separate the two batteries.

Make sure you have fuel... and all doors/hood properly shut. There are a few legitimate reasons remote start doesn't work, make sure you check the easy ones first.
