Billet block? Coyote based or something else?

In my day it was all Windsor based as the mod motor was just coming on the scene but not aftermarket support yet.

I was running a 408 CI using a Dart block and TFS heads/intake. Single big turbo. Around 1200Hp running Haltec EFI. Was good for the 9's.

Now it's completely insane - you need 2000Hp or more to be competitive. I still have a buddy in it with a newer Camaro that will run 7's at 200Mph and can be street driven. He claims it's 2000Hp but I've seen the dyno sheet and it's closer to 3000Hp. This hobby costs him $200k a year to stay at the top, not including what's in the car already.

You can buy a lot of tires and axle shafts for that ;)

Yeah, I just saw the part number. No "f" on the end. The high steer is a throw off. Makes me think of a top mount drag link.

yeah that’s what I thought as well since it’s the only ones on the site. I knew about the option for top mount that’s why I was initially asking. I’ll confirm tomorrow just to make sure. Still waiting on the BJ’s. Hopefully both of those will make it more drivable haha
BJ's make everything better.

It’s a Billet block, twin 96mm turbos, it was a little north of 3500 at the wheels. I could buy 3-4 Rubicon’s for what was in the motor. It was an 1/8th mile grudge car, low 4’s.

@Headbarcode got the longer links used from a forum member installed tonight. Glad I got the longer ones, these are set to 12.5 eye to eye as that’s what mc has theirs as, will see if there’s any interference at full bump.

can’t wait for more goodies to arrive...

I have the shorter of the 2 sets, and they look similar to yours. You definitely got the longer set?

thats what the dude said and when I called RK about lengths kind of makes sense. My bodies are 8”, I believe the short ones were 7 or 6...when you get a chance measure the body on yours for shits and giggles.
