i have the one piece but prefer the look of a two piece. I hear at high speeds that the rear piece makes alot of noise? is this true?
I have the one piece. Just looking at the two piece it would appear that the rear one would flap more. I didn't like reading about the Ball bungees the other shades use. Hard to put on and some breakage. The Spiderweb has better system to attach cords.

yeah i also have the one piece and its great. installation is easy and keeps it from flapping too much. i was curious about the 2 piece hoping it doesn't flap too much but the rear looks like it opens up bc of those speakers.

Does this work with the factory grab handles? Thanks.
Should work with any grab handles. I would think. Mine are JK Mopar grab handles.

I had to get these for my SOT, they fit great for the limited space you have. I liked them so went with them for the Rubi.

I think since the 2-peice still covers part of the speakers it would flap right there. Might be wrong but didn't want to find out. I just wanted one solid shade end to end. Plus, it covers all of the top of the speakers the keep UV off.

I have a Smittybuilt version that uses velcro straps that I like. It covers both front and back seats and is convertible with zippers to be fully open, screen or solid cover for front, rear or both. Very versatile; I keep it on even with using the soft top. Its a 1 piece, but you fold the screens or solid pieces into a pocket that is where the top crosses over the sound bar when they are not in use. Bit of a pain to install, but once on does not really need to come off.
Smittybuilt here. Works well.

We have a 2022 JL and just got the Sunshade Long. It really has a lot of flapping noise just above the sound bar at highway speeds. It came with the cutout (which I don't love) over the soundbar, so I don't know if that's the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

What I love about this shade, is that you don't have to remove them when you put the top on. It's also helps with the deadening a bit of the sound, at least from the top, when you have the top on, a little unadvertised feature. This one is also much cheaper that the others and does the same thing, and looks great, and I never feel the heat of the sun.

I have also experienced this as well. It started to lessen with time.

I'm having a hard time finding what I'm looking for in a sunshade.. Do any of these (or do you know of any) allow for the closing of a factory JL soft top with absolutely no need to mess with the sun shade? I've had the JTops for years and it's almost perfect except for the fact that you need to pull out the front bit to latch the soft top. It then droops quite a lot and brushes my head (I'm 6'5" and can't get it to not do that). It has dissolved in the crazy sun I have here and I need to replace it and would love to find one that just has holes where the latches for the top need to be.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. I can not seem to find much info. I prefer a 2 piece sunshade. That can stay on at all times Soft or hard top. Thanks to all in advance.
Many thanks to all for your valued input! We have decided and purchased the Shadeidea 2 pc. Quality looks very good I must say. Just need the damn Jeep! Nov 20th order in D1. Ship eta is Aug 5th.
