Hello,Any one else hear that Jeep will be issuing a fix by end of June?
I have a question for you that has bothered me since the start of thisHello,
We do not have a specific date as of yet, we will keep everyone affected by this recall further posted once we get more feedback. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

It's against federal law for the dealer to allow you to take delivery of it with an open recall. That 150 page thread has a few folks that have 2023 and 2024s on order that have started being assembled, though they haven't heard whether they have the new clutch assembly or if they're just being built to have the clutch replaced at dealers.@JeepCares
So where does that leave all of us? I am trying to purchase a rig that is manual, does that mean I can’t drive it????
The recall states it's a new assembly and a software flash. I could've sworn someone had a document (maybe in the Clutch Recall thread) that said it's further logic to detune if slipping is identified. The current software only detunes the engine if it senses the clutch slipping and is not a blanket "detune"Fix = derate power via software
Let's not actually fix the root cause being a shitty design.

Apparently this is a safety issue/recall
Are we expected to not drive our jeeps for 6-9mos (or more), or do you advise to keep driving them?
Please let me know
If we're advised not to drive them, will Stellantis pay for a rental?
