I have been using their prototype for about four months. The owner is a friend of mine and he won a new product award with it at SEMA.

A couple of questions...

It is hard to tell from the website if the rails on the one side of the top cover are included. In the video I see them flip over the top and show the rails, but at one point they are referred to as optional.

Rattles, how bad with sub? I have a separate sub box, it looks like the way this one is built the rattles should be kept to a minimum. I watched the installation video for the Diabolic one and it looks like it would rattle like crazy.

Weight, someone mentioned 100 pounds. This is my biggest concern as my JLUR is already pushing 6,000 pounds without my fat ass in it.

Thanks!

Rails are not included, they are an option that I wish I took.

Zero rattles, and I have the Alpine sub. Seriously, zero.

It could be 100lbs, it’s beefy. It’s also super secure and works as a trunk deck to store things on/mount them too. It was a fair trade off for what I wanted. I’m never worried about things in the back when I park my Jeep with the top off.

So what is that sliding luggage rack thing in there? What is it called? Where did it come from? Looks like a perfect solution for dealing with folding camp chairs...

So as of today, EZTrunk is the only option for 2DRs without having to remove the rear seat?
