Rear Center Console mod/upgrade

I have a ‘23 Sport S 2Dr, cold weather group, tech group, 8.4” radio, premium audio, convenience group. The rear of the center console does not have any USB or power port like I’ve seen on some models. If I swapped this out minus the window switch’s will it just be plug and play or will I need to have the computer flashed to accept the additional USB ports. I also assume I would need to get an inverter for the power to work. Based on the plug wire length I assume the inverter should be located/mounted in the center console or under the seat. Any advice or has anyone done a swap/upgrade?

No, I actually jumped the wire from the rear using the splitter from quadratec then I disassembled the usb and purchased a smaller usb bank and put into it. I never installed it because I received orders to goto TX for a year so when I get home next summer I’ll mess with it. All I’ll have to do is install since the jumper is already installed. I did that 1st. I just decided the 110v plug was not worth the hassle so I bought a replacement rear console piece and just cut out for the usb. It’s for the kid anyway so as long as she can charge her phone she is happy. In the meantime I just run a longer cable from inside the center console. The bad part is I have to hear Taylor Swift if she is in the Jeep ?

Hello, I want to update too. When you installed the back piece of the console, are the cables plug and play?

Nope, I had to run power from the rear 12v
