Rear bumper lights

Bumper on the way, lights are in garage looking lonely. My question is, and I've kinda decided, rear auxiliary leds come on with backup lights? Or don't be that tool and wire to a switch.

I prefer to have them on an aux switch, for use as needed, rather than only in reverse. It's overkill in a lot of public parking scenarios, and I only like blinding those who are deserving of it. Lol
