I installed a LOD Destroyer bumper with Rigid flush mount lights years ago. I would've wired them earlier, but I just kept putting it off to work on more important projects and mandatory overtime at work.

Anyway, I had finally time with plenty of rainy days in the past two weeks. My shotgun rider bought me some Lasfit auxiliary switches for Christmas, so that made wiring the lights up very appealing.

I used two of the Roadmaster diodes to create two separate power sources with two separate light enables. One power source is from the reverse lights and of course the other is from my auxiliary switches.

I found that if I used the reverse light power from only the left side, it will only turn on the reverse lights for about 1 second and then they turn off. I tied into both left and right sides for reverse light power. It works great! No issues at all.

These spot lights are intense and I may switch them out the diffused lens version. These lights will absolutely blind you while looking at the back of my Jeep. All you will see are the two spot lights.

I'm mostly happy with my upgrade. I can see everything behind me while backing and the image in the backup camera is much more useful at night now. Unfortunately it's not good for people if they are walking by back there when I put it in reverse.
