A while back, I installed some flush mount lights into my rear bumper and tied them into the backup lights. I love how bright they are! Makes a huge difference when backing up in dark parking lots.

I haven't pulled any wiring out to look, so I'm not sure on this.. Is there a way that I can have them wired to the backup lights and still have a switch option to turn them on whenever I want?

Use the search function. There are a few threads talking about this. Comes down to wiring in diodes to control the power flow. Most people ran the wiring through the right frame rail to the Aux wiring.
