Next up is a new Warn Zeon 10S and some new Factor 55 parts!

Got started on the winch install with a Warn winch plate.

I never really have like red, so I decided to try to match the blue on the beadlocks.

Any idea if the front and rear tow hooks are the exact same as on the JK. I am looking to swap the red tow hooks with black ones from a JK.

I suspect they are the same, but have no confirmation. I had the same idea. I have a set of JK hooks stored away and was thinking of getting them powder coated, then swapping them out. I know that JK front bumpers will bolt to a JL - so that tells me that the lower portion of the front tow hooks are the same. I'm just not sure about the upper part of the hook - one may be taller (or higher) than the other.

I think I will try to find a Mopar part number for both and see if they match.

I believe they are the same. This was in catalog and from what I saw on Mopar parts sights.

I’m digging the SPIDERWEBSHADE. Looks great in white.

Thank you for looking that up - I haven't had time. But yeah, they look the same to me too!

So I started putting the winch on last week, but quickly discovered that they sent me the wrong one. Even though I specified the JL specific Zeon 10S, I was sent the standard 10S and had to wait for a replacement.

It's a tight fit, but it fits!

A couple new parts from Factor 55.
This is their Winch Lock Bolt - for a little cheap insurance. I'm not sure anyone could really steel the winch anyway, but...

I love the Ultrahook. I've been running it on my JK for a couple years now and it is so quick to hook up.

While I was working on the bumper, I went ahead and added these Sierra LED Lights that I received a couple of weeks ago.
This is their newest series, the TS2 in a 10" amber.

And the TC2 Cubes, also in amber.

I was able to use factory holes to mount the lights to the bumper, for now.

The Jeep Steel Bumper and Warn winch plate really hide the winch well. It sets nice and low, between the frame rails.

I’m a big fan of Amber LIghts. My JK had amber fogs and Rocklights. Helps others see you without blind them, and save theirs and your night vision. I’d like to see some pics of them lit up.

I agree, I love the amber. I've been running them on my JK for years and I don't even use the white anymore. I'm sorry I can't show you them lit since I am waiting for a switcher / controller to power them. Please stay tuned!
