  1. AEV Bull Bar

The lights are amazing...very bright. I went with AEV lights because I like the look, and I wanted a light that was easy to wire up to one aux switch. I was on the fence between these and the BD LP6 but decided against the BDs because they have a high and low beam option that would need to be...
  2. AEV Bull Bar

I like the AEV bumper and the OEM bumper, so I went with the Maximus 3 classic hoop and light bracket with the AEV 7000 series lights. It resembles the look of the older AEV bumper on the JK's.
  3. STING GRAY Wrangler JL Club

No, but it's on my list. We did Pearl Pass to Italian Creek/Reno Divide to Tin Cup. Pearl Pass was beautiful, with only one challenging section. Italian Creek was great until we got to the top and had to take an alternate route due to a side-by-side recovery that had blocked the trail. Italian...

  5. Trying to Wire AEV 7000 lights into JLU switches. AEV tech support no help

Did you ever figure out how to wire these up to the aux switches? I am interested in these lights as well.

Thanks! I installed the AEV lift after running stock for three years, and I love it for my needs. I drive 90% on road and seek out challenging but not extreme trails on the weekends. With the stiffer springs, I feel confident when cornering and braking, and I don't notice any performance loss...

  10. 35" and 37" JL pics with lift kit

Thanks! Yes, it is the AEV bumper with the tire carrier plus the fuel caddy and mud flaps. The tire carrier mounts to the frame, so it holds weight perfectly. Zero rattles. It comes with a new housing for the camera, so no visibility issues there. I don't have the backup sensors on my Jeep, but...

AEV 2.5" DualSport suspension, 4.88 Spicer gears, 37" BFG KM3's, and Salta XR wheels. Photo taken on Barbour Fork trail in Idaho Springs, CO.
  12. Anyone running AEV Salta XR wheels for JL?

    Here's mine on 37" bfg km3's
  13. BRIGHT WHITE Wrangler JL Club

I was checking your Jeep out yesterday. Looks great! I was in the Gray JL you were parked behind yesterday at the shop.

Thanks! I've only driven about 10 miles since I got the tires installed. The noise difference between the BFG AT's and MT's is barely noticeable. I bet they will get louder as they age. They're 37's.
  15. STING GRAY Wrangler JL Club

    Swapped the AT's for MT's.

Thanks! When the new Salta's were first released, I was on the fence for a few reasons - 1) The JK Salta's look so damn good, and the new ones are very different – they took a few months to grow on me. 2) They're no longer exclusive to the Wrangler (available for Chevy and Toyota), and 3) I was...
