Anybody use these on their JK and think they will work on the JL?

I've seen these on show cars or hot rods but what's the purpose on a Wrangler?

Just so I don't have to drill the bumper and it looks better than mounted direct to the bumper.

I can't say this for all of them, but the Sport S my local dealer got in had the plastic bumper pre-drilled for the front plate holder.

I'm going to have to message the dealer to ask them not to drill.

Check out JK Automotive in Stoneham. Jeremy is the owner. He put a high end hidden radar and laser jamming system in my Porsche and a front plate that is magnetic. No holes. Not cheap but he does great high end work on a lot of exotics

I doubt the dealer drills into the bumper. If there are holes, they are likely factory-drilled. The dealer will just install the license plate.

That’s what I meant; those in single plate states could best answer this.

I have seen magnetic systems be prone to fix-it tickets, depending upon the officer. Some tug on the front plate as many states require the front plate to be “firmly affixed” and police are well acquainted with magnets and double-sided tape.
