I dig itWe designed and fabricated a prototype last night as a proof of concept. Got it quickly together and the dang thing is awesome. It’s for people that what to display flags securely and need adjustability. This started as a customer request for something that’ll work with their Jeep if they delete the spare or keep it. Took it a step further and made it for tire delete, stock tire and oversized spare. We talked it over and came up with this. Will replace the upper bolt with a pin so you can quickly lower it for access into the cargo area. The pipe will be drilled to accept the pin as well as a way to keep it secured.
Let me know what y’all think or if there’s any changes you think we should make

Yes. Emt will be secured with the top bolt. In the most recent one we built were going to use a pin to make it easy to adjust it or lower if you’re wanting access to the trunk. The supplied pole will be for local folks. Unsure if we’re going to ship because the end user won’t want to pay shipping for such an inexpensive piece of pipe.concept is very nice. sounds like your providing the EMT piping for a flag to mount to.. if that bends is there a way to replace it or is it welded in place. maybe a pull out pin on the pole in one or two places between the middle plate. would allow for that piece to be replaced without any cutting. just a thought. great looking design for sure
I agree 100%. quick pick up form the hardware store is better than shipping. !Yes. Emt will be secured with the top bolt.
