So I had a decal made to replace the “electric 4wheel drive” decal that was on my Willys. Put the new decal on and I have thousands of microscopic bubble. What’s the best way to fix this? I’m worried to use a credit card to squeegee it. Worried it might tear the new sticker. Hair dryer?

That may disappear in time with the sun as it appears to be more of a phenomenon we call "silvering" in the industry than actual trapped air.

If it never ends up looking the way you want this could be made without the clear all over everything if you want - I can help with that.

Too late. It's already applied. Did you use soapy water and a squeegee to put it on? If so, it might just take a few days in the sun for it to even out.

Where did you get the decal and what quality of vinyl did they use?

I think a separate decal of the Road Runner and then a separate decal for the "Meep Meep" would work better.

agreed. No reason it needs to be printed on clear, it can all be die-cut.

Do you guys do custom decals? I ordered a couple decals from you guys as well. Would have done this one through you as well but didn’t see the option.
“Be made without the clear” what do you mean by this? Basically color matching the background on the decal to match the paint?

Yes, I do almost more custom than I do stuff on the website believe it or not.

Instead of the clear, the decal would be cut at the edge of the road runner, and the letters would be cut out, and it would be tied together by transfer tape so it is all aligned for a one step install. Just no silly clear layer trying to hold it all together. No background match needed because all that is cut away and nonexistent.

After using goo gone I cleaned the area with some warm soapy water. Waited for it to dry then applied the decal. It’s not a static cling sticker it had an adhesive backing. Don’t know what the vinyl quality is. I got it from carstickers.com
…sorry pixeldecals

The best way to apply a decal is to spray the area with water that has a few drops of soap in it. Place the decal on the sprayed area, move it to just the right position, then squeegee the moisture out from the center to the edges.

Even if it has an adhesive backing?

Yes you can do that with adhesive vinyl as well. The adhesive isn't water soluble, nor is it made form paper so a wet install is doable, although I usually wouldn't for a decal so small.

I’m probably gonna redo it. I saw on your site the custom option. But I don’t see where I can upload images to create what I want. Am I missing something?
