Radio Unit Reverse Camera Coaxial Cable

Need help finding the the reverse camera cable that connects to the rear of the radio unit. unfortunately, someone broke the window of my Wrangler and stole the 7" screen radio unit. All of the wires are intact except for the camera coaxial cable (red Connector is gone). I search for the part number listed on the cable but those are different from the MOPAR part numbers. I found Part Number: 68401977AA (https://www.moparpartsinc.com/p/Jee...FTKkhd6TqcfKI6e5xhaDW5sYwW2pEm1caAlc2EALw_wcB. However, this part is listed only for 2018 Wranglers and it says it does not fit my 2020. The cables look the same but the dealership says that for 2020 the cable comes with the whole dashboard harness and is different from the 2018. Ultimately, the part is only $21 and I was planning to buy it and try. Any ideas? Thanks for your help

I routed the cable and indeed it joins with the main harness bundle. Now I need a workaround this. Only if I could fix the existing cable.

Yes, I saw that. This cable is an extension for the existing rear portion that connects to the camera side. I need the one that connects to the radio unit. The connector looks similar. If I can find the connector, there is a chance I can repair it. The connector is the same as this one but in red.

Yes, i was thinking the stinger 10” radio but I have to solve the camera cable connector first.

Maybe if you install something "better"... any way to install an anti-theft device? Would suck for that to happen 2x!

Also, how are you fixing the window? Shop install, or DIY?

The new window was installed just now. The radio work I will do it myself. Once I figure out the camera cable connector I will order the radio. Still waiting for the insurance company to get back to me.

I had one of my previous vehicles (Hummer H3) broken into. They smashed the passenger side window and stole my wife's purse out of the vehicle while we were at a golf driving range (she forgot to grab it and left it in the vehicle on the seat by accident). Had a dealer do the window replacement; had to go back after they did the new glass install to have them take the door apart again and re-vacuum the inside of the door for glass shards. That's something to really be careful of - if they don't get ALL of the tiny, microscopic pieces of glass out of the door, you could end up with scratches on the new window and damage to other things inside the door. Real PITA to get right!

What did you end up doing to replace the cable? replace or repair? I have a 2018 JL with an apparent defective cable. Dealership is telling me that only available option is new wiring harness to replace Cable. Already verified camera and radio are functional.

I ordered fakra and coaxial connectors and fixed it myself.

What ends did you buy? I accidentally cut my backup camera cable by the tailgate and would like to try to get it back together instead of running a new one. Thanks

Fakra plastic connectors and the coaxial ends. If you disassemble the end you cut by mistake, use it at the end of the wire. Just peel it and reassemble. I had to order connectors because mine were gone when the radio was stolen.
