Very interested in this. I have a Tazer and would manually turn the fans on when off roading just to keep things cooler due to lack of forward speed/airflow when needed. I feel this engine gets way to hot before the fans turn on and love PWM set points.

My real question is does this work on the 2.0 turbo E-torque. I did reach out to them for that answer. I also wonder if it is still compatible with the Tazer as all the Tazer seems to do is trick the system by "Hitting 248 F" to trigger the fans to come on

UPDATE 9/23/23

Just got back from a trip to Lake Tahoe from the bay aria

Going up high way 80 from Auburn to Truckee at 65-70 mph the coolant topped out at 212 degrees / Trans 206 / oil 221 / 212 degrees is when the fan kicks in at 75% fan speed

As soon as I hit the top of any hill the coolant temp would fall to 188 to 192 within 1 minute followed by the oil and trans temps

I also I spent about 6 hours on the Rubicon trail and the coolant temp never went over 201 and most of the time staying around 195 to 197

The last trip to Tahoe about a month ago my coolant temps would hit 221 on any little hill and hit 231 or higher on the larger hills and on the Rubicon trail it would swing between 215 to 221 all day long

Rpmextreme JEEP JL PWM FAN CONTROLLER has made a big difference in keeping air moving though the radiator and keeping my jeep running cooler

Update 9/26/23

Just checked my UPR oil catch can

The picture on the left is from a trip to Lake Tahoe / Rubicon trail plus a few hundred miles about a month ago
The picture on the right is from a trip to Lake Tahoe / Rubicon trail plus a few hundred miles a week ago after installing the Rpmextreme JEEP JL PWM FAN CONTROLLER
My theory is. Lower coolant and oil temps reduces the oil atomization or oil mist in the crank case and less oil being picked up by the PCV system
More testing put this is an amazing difference

I also have the tazer put it doesn't even compare to the Rpmextreme JEEP JL PWM FAN CONTROLLER
When I ordered the PWM FAN CONTROLLER I added the positive override which will turn on the fan any time to full speed and it will move a ton of air

Seems like this is my next mod. The instructions on their site doesn't seen to be downloadable. Im curious how you tied into the CANBUS system and where. Was power connection at the battery or and Addafuse from an ignition controlled power source>?

Seems like an easy 2 beer install.. Now to see if it works on the 2.0 Turbo E-Torque

I need to find the ECU connector and see how accessible it is. I might have the pin extractors for that conn. too. I don't like the wire wrap and solder method of splicing

Thanks

Alright, So RPM extreme has never had one installed on a 2.0 turbo E-torque. Can anyone confirm here that it does or doesn't work?

It should work on the 2.0
You can pull back the loom tap and see if the wire colors mach his wire diagram
I believe I was the first one for the 3.6 JL
Jon told me that he would make one and test it on his 2018 3.6 wrangler JL . Jon has been making these for the Jk for a few years . Drove my wife's 2018 Rubicon JL 3.6 last night and realized that hers is running 221 coolant and 218 oil so hers is next. I am so so happy with the one on my 2020 willys

Yea, he said "If the ECU and fan are the same then it "should" work but cant guarantee it"

Im half tempted to just buy it and try it, might ask for a discount as the "1st try"

so Im just touching back on this. Worked with Jon and he did say that it will not work on the 2.0. So if anyone has a 2.0 in the area of RPM Extreme, please take it to them so we can get one built and working. Im just too far way.

I hope Jon gets the 2.0 fan controller worked out
I just got back from a 5 day trip to Copperopolis / Murphys / Arnold ca and Board's crossing
We staid at the Gate way hotel in Copperopolis. Very nice and I can park my Jeep right out side my room window
The hole time on and off road with the rpm extreme fan controller the coolant temp never got over 199 and mostly staid 190 to 195
Lets keep spreading the word . YES YOU CAN TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR COOLING SYSTEM
For now on the 3.6 and hopefully soon on the 2.0

Doesn't seem like there's a lot of room to work with those connections. How'd you manage??

Yes, looking at the 2.0 its pretty tight. I check in with Jon once a month for the 2.0 fan system, Still nothing yet. Im at a point that if anyone is in the area of Jon ill pay for half of that persons kit just so that Jon has something to set it up on.
