Anyone else have problems with their radiator fan intermittently not turning on? It used to be hard to miss with its jet engine noise but recently coolant temps get high and the fan doesn’t kick on, let alone to it’s high setting.

Also noticed when I turned the AC on cold and high to try to force it to kick on it wouldn’t for a second and the air would blow hot instead of cold.

Thermostat replaced, coolant temp sensor reads fine, water pump replaced

Yesterday it climbed to 221 and held steady there. That time I was able to turn the air on and get the fan to forcefully kick on. Happened again later in the day in a drive thru and I couldn’t get it to turn on and when I put the cold air on it continued to blow hot.

the Jeep used to kick the fan on high once it got anywhere above about 210

That’s not very hot. What do you mean the air wouldn’t get cold? For how long?

Considering it never used to get that high without the fan turning on that’s pretty high.

The issue is the rad fan isn’t turning on, regardless of what the temperature is. Normally you’re able to force the fan to turn on by putting your AC on max.
