Quoted build/delivery time. Wait... What???

I ordered mine on Dec 11 and was told it was being ordered from the 2022 range. While I was ordering they told me 70 - worst case 90 days.
After they had my order I went back in to see if I had any updates or Vin yet and they said 3-4 months!
I‘m so tempted to just go buy one that’s ‘close enough’ and be done with it.

So, is that a potentially real issue? I know the mats have been back-ordered for quite a while, but will selecting them (or another scarce option) cause a delay with a vehicle order, or does the factory just delete that option or issue an IOU for the part? Are there any other options besides the mats, that are scarce and could cause a delay?

Mats have held orders back before, they've been cancelled at the factory to push vehicles through. I hope they'd have the intelligence to do the same with MY22.

I ordered my 392 last September 5th. Didn’t appear in my garage until around December 29th. And that was considered a rather quick delivery considering what other people were going through. Parts shortages are a real and lingering issue. Probably labor and transportation shortages too.

The language is called Hindi, Hindu is the religion- sorry i have OCD about geography matters. I generally take JC with a huge grain of salt, i keep checking my order almost daily with JC and have seen it going from D1-D-BG-C-D . The systems are glitchy and last week everyone who was in D went back to C for some strange reason and they had to fix it.

Sarge green altitude, with tow package, manual and v6.
Stealership has given me the order number but only the last 8 numbers of the vin.
Is there a generic first 9 numbers for a JL Jeep Wrangler?
I‘d like to use the chat thing to see where my order is!

My Jeep was built right before Christmas. I didn't care about it until I saw it was built. Now I'm working hard trying to manage expectations.

I took them 4 weeks to get mine delivered after it was built and that was to Gupton who orders an assload of Jeeps, so they weren't waiting to fill a transport. The issue was (is) lack of drivers. :-(

I hope yours comes soon.

Mine was built on 12/23 and on it's way to the dealer now. Funny because when I ordered (10/23) my dealer said expect it around March and I was good with that. Now that it's built and almost there I can't stand the wait! There's really no consistency of how they're getting built. I know someone said by the builds and destination area which kind of makes some sense.

I thought JC was open 24/7? I just tried to get on and the chat bar is grayed out. Maybe they finally blocked me?

Jeep Chat will give you the full VIN if you ask. I ordered mine on a Sat morning and by Mon afternoon, Jeep Chat gave me the VIN. Easy peasy.

I work at a Jeep dealership and we have had several 22's (of various trim levels, two door and unlimited), arrive and delivered to their owners.

Mine is on a train heading to Colorado as of last Tuesday. Estimated delivery to my dealer between 1/14 - 1/24. Sooner than the February I guessed when I ordered on 10/19.
