So I wonder, can the "dual top package" be added to the Jeep? Meaning the dealer add the package?
Yes they can add at the time of ordering. Most dealers don't order many this way for the lot. But if you're doing a custom order, it's just an option (can be ordered in tan or black).

Not ordering. I mean, buying one off the lot, that doesnt have the dual top group. And them just adding it.
I suppose they could, but would make less money. So Im sure they wouldnt.

Your best option with the JL is to buy someones used one. Plenty of people getting rid of them.

I'm extremely happy with my regular soft top. It's really a nice fit and very little noise when compared to my TJ soft top. I have had no issues with it this winter. Tho, I do keep it in the garage. I prefer the soft top to the hard top. I can't wait to use this new top with the slide out windows:like:

If you look at Best Top try to take advantage of the promotions they run with YouTuber Lite Brite.

I think their promo ended yesterday but it was 10% off and likely they’ll have something new or extend that one again.

As of right now the only soft top that completely folds down is the OEM soft top? Is this correct?

I like how the OEM completely opens, but obviously would rather spend less on an aftermarket brand.

Thanks!
Spend less, get less...dont compromise on the ROOF of your Jeep. Think about it...for what? To save a couple bucks? save up and get a quality top.

Just simply ask for a discount. You don't have to name drop. Or, email the forum best top person.

Yes actually, use Mopars 15% off, just have to buy through dealership.
Can you get the Best Top NX with that coupon or just the regular one? I though the Mopar coupon was only for Chrysler parts?

As many have said, the best bet would be to order your JL from the factory with the Dual Top Group. No reason to buy off the floor unless you're in a hurry. Second best option is to keep looking for an in-stock unit with D/T, preferably an '18 leftover if you're looking to keep costs down. Dealers are getting incentives from Jeep to clear '18 JLs right now ($500 per unit rebate, plus another kickback if the dealer meets sales objectives). Next best option is to keep searching the forum for people selling their soft tops (make sure you know the difference between the 2 ST options) and buy it here. Additionally, you could buy it from Mopar at their price (minus the Jeep Wave discount of 15%) or get an aftermarket one, which would be my last resort.
