Question about CAN programming

How difficult would it be to customize the CAN programming for an additional display, programming existing functions, etc.?

First thing i would look into is the Canbus Rail that is in the Glove box. Replace that as its a cheap part and has a good amount of the Can bus data flowing through it. If i recall correctly there is a lot of info here on the forms about that specific item and what symptoms can arise from that failing.
