question about camera resolution…

i picked up a garmin dash mini 2 and i really like how simple it is! when looking at video however, i can make out license plates with some work. the camera says to use a class 10 micro sd card of at least 8 gb. i purchased a sandisk ultra plus 64 gb however i’m wondering if i purchased the extreme pro version, which i believe is 4K, would that up my resolution? or would it be the same because the camera can only do 1080?

No. SD card has nothing to do with the camera's resolution.
