Question about a JL grille

I’ve got an ‘18 Sahara JL, white. It’s got the factory silver or “argent” grill and headlight opening inserts.
They’re OK, but I‘d much prefer black.
i know you can buy aftermarket black inserts for “Sport” models, but it’s my understanding that since I’ve already got the silver inserts, the black ones won’t fit (on a Sahara).
Could I buy a OEM white grille from a Sport (from a salvage yard) that doesn’t have the inserts and swap that with my Sahara grille and then add the aftermarket black inserts?
is the mounting system the same for the grille for a Sport and Sahara?

Cheaper and easier to just pull your grill and take out the surrounds and paint them. Super easy to take off, YouTube is your friend for the how to.

And if you don't want to do that, buy the Rubicon inserts.

If you're going to buy grill inserts, buy the JT Gladiator Rubicon inserts. They have more air flow.

To answer your original question though.. yes, all grilles are interchangeable between trims. Rubicon/Sahara/Mopar satin black grilles are just made up of more/different parts, but they all snap in to the same places on the body and share the same overall size/shape.
