I just took delivery of my 2024 JLU and didn’t notice these issues with the weather stripping around 2 of the 4 windows. What would you guys do? I know there are a lot of “it’s a Jeep thing” comments, but for what we pay they should have tighter QC tolerances before it’s delivered to the customer.

Its not seated properly, and a chance that there is some missing goop assuming they use it to insure no water penetration...

I bought a 24 2 dr sport with options taking it to $44k. Had dents in the hood, bad pixel on the display, was out of alignment pulling to the left, had a boomy noise like the vehicle itself turned into a subwoofer and a couple of other issues. It didn’t feel like past jeeps to me when driving it. Dealer didn’t want to fix any of it besides doing an alignment. Brand new vehicle. I ended up trading it back in (no loss) for a 23 Willy’s 2 dr which I like much better and has zero problems. I’ve had jeeps since the CJ7, every model. The 24 was the 2nd jeep I have been disappointed in over the last 30 years of buying them. My faves have been the 2020 gladiator (Willy’s) my old yellow TJ and now this 23 Willy’s.

The 23 2dr has no flaws, is loaded with all I wanted (alpine, heated seats, etc) and I was able to do an even swap back even though the 23 stickered for $48k. The 24 I had seemed like it wasn’t built as well as jeeps past but could have just been a one off. I’d ask the dealer to fix it because your dealer may be helpful. Mine wasn’t.

One thing is for sure, I know which dealer to never buy a jeep from again. Left them a 1 star on the survey and made complaints to stellantis. They followed up and had me explain every issue with the jeep and the dealer.

In any case, next jeep I’ll buy will be whenever they redesign next a few years from now. Who knows what the wranglers will be like in 2028.

One other thing… where my 24 came from they had a few more and some of the others had dents and shoddy work. Not sure what was happening in the factory for these builds but shouldn’t be like this at these prices (or any price). Yea, it’s a jeep but jeeps shouldn’t have build issues. No excuse for shoddy work.

And with a warranty claim, theoretically Stellantis will be alerted by the dealer so the rest of us get better product.

That looks terrible! It's not a Jeep thing, it's terrible workmanship at the factory by an individual.

lol. Every time I see one on the road I can’t get over that horrible top. Why didn’t they sub it out to Best Top are the Jeep exclusive?

I have a '21 JLUR and I just noticed that my inside driver door seal, close to A-pillar, has a spot just like your first pic. I'll be doing my 3rd Wave OLF shortly and will bring it to dealers attention. Like the warning already said, I just hate to have any repairs done because I'm always worried about the repair being worse than no repair. Sucks to think that way. Let us know what your outcome is.

That’s a prime example of the Highly Skilled UAW workforce. How did that even pass the end of line UAW quality control inspection?

The new wage had not yet been enacted, otherwise, that would not have ever happened :CWL:
