I ran a search for this and couldn't come up with anything. I am going to upgrade the front bumper in my 2022 JL. There are a lot of options obviously and I am having trouble finding what I want. I was wondering if there are any brands/models that are more quality based than others and if there are any brands I should avoid. I am looking to spend under $1,000.00 and wanted to find a great quality one that will be with us for the long haul. Looking at a full-length bumper with factory fog light cutouts. Thanks!

Winch? If so sunk or top mount?
Aluminum or Steel?
Shaped (stamped) or welded plate?
Toad towable?
Overrider (Winch Bar) or Stinger or none?

I had a Warn Crawler on my 2021 JLR and now have an ARB on my 2022 JLR.

Of the two, I like the look of the ARB; however, the ARB holes did not line up with the bumper ends, so it's almost worthless to me. I have four of eight bolts installed.

They are similar install, but the Warn Crawler has some brackets that keep the bumper/winch from rotating forward/down during hard pulls (as the winch sits atop the bumper/winch plate).

The ARB requires you to modify your frame ends to accommodate the winch sitting tuck into the bumper (where the bumper bolts). You have to cut/grind the frame ends so the winch will fit. If you don't have a grinder with cutting/grinding wheels.

I think the Warn is easier to install, but the ARB looks better.

Not sure if I will get a winch, but I would like to have a spot for it. Probably sunk.
Steel
Unsure on the plate
Not road towable
Probably the bull bar type, no on the stinger

To clarify, stamped steel will use plate for the winch/recovery/attachment, but a lighter (and easier to shape) steel for the actual shape of the bumper. Full welded plates will be angular flat sections.
