Anyone else order recently from Quadratech, try to find the status of your order and get: Order history is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

I ordered an interior part last week. Never received a confirmation e-mail or receipt. Later in the week I tried their chat line to see what was up. The person I chatted with (after searching for a while) said they had found my order but there was a problem on their end that required IT to fix. They said it would be 1-2 business days and everything should be cleared up.

Tried again today and I'm still getting that same error message. Tried the chat line but they're closed until tomorrow.

Finally got to the bottom of it... When I ordered the part, I used a gift card code that another user on this site posted. They listed it as a first-come, first-served kind of thing. So, I tried applying the code to my Quadratec order and it was accepted. My order was credited $20 and I paid the difference.

After a few different Quadratec Chat attempts, during which time I was told that the problem was with their IT department and that they would resolve the issue shortly... I'm now being told (more than a week after the fact) that the gift card code was used by someone else before me and, even though their site accepted it and I have an order number, they are now canceling my order.

And, to be clear, I wouldn't have minded a bit if someone else had used the code before me and when I tried it would have shown the code was no longer valid. I get it. You snooze, you lose. But when they accepted the code and I paid the difference that should have been a valid sale. Needless to say, that $20 bucks will now cost them every dime of business I ever would have given them as well as every dime of anyone else business who asks me about Quadratec.
