Life is short , Think outside the box try different areas meet different people be exposed to different things. if you live in an area and you don’t like it for whatever reasons, no worry there’s some awesome awesome places in America Irregardless of what the news tells us. I went from a small town in Pennsylvania to the west coast and I’m not advocating for California but whatever does it for you. freedom , man freedom is awesome not being hassled is awesome, legal weed is awesome , driving with no doors is awesome , no rust, no snow is awesome. There is no perfect place , no utopia maybe heaven if you believe in that. I feel so sorry for people who never get out of there ZIP Code. Leave those small town cops small thinking behind.
Cali isn't the paradise on Earth you make it out to be, you got commies running the state into the ground and are overrun with illegals

That's such a cop-out (pun intended). The OP is clearly at fault here, and then everyone tries to justify their own bad behavior.

A society that allows its police force to selectively enforce laws is asking for trouble.

Go ahead and start recording the police, that is a good thing. Will wait for the results, but I'm willing to bet nothing ever happens.
No one is saying to selectively inforce the laws, that would be Hillary Clinton-ish lol What we are saying is no officer should bother with stupid laws like a no door law. I do however believe if there was no mirror present a ticket is justified.

However if an officer is lame enough to pull someone over for no doors, but has a mirror, just smile and wave. There are lame officers just like there are lame people. Difference is they put their lives on the line and deserve the courtesy of being lame on occasion. Still ok to bitch about it though.;)

You are literally, directly saying to selectively enforce laws. You want officers to pick and choose their own set of laws, that’s chaos.

You don’t logically follow your own argument. Oh, mirror law makes sense to you but door law doesn’t. So if 1 state requires doors, it’s wrong, and the police should ignore it, but if yours requires mirrors, it’s perfectly logical and should be enforced.

The Democratic Party says is illegal really illegal?.
Of course you can selectively enforce the laws you want to , it happens every single day. You can enforce any law you want against any white person. If it’s a person of color no law can touch you. It’s pretty simple.

Oh, please. Half the prison population is black. You’re just being ridiculous. This thread is going to end up locked or pushed over to the politics sub forum to die.

I realize you have try and make your point regardless of what I actually said. But if you re-read I said “I’m not advocating for California” and “no place is perfect.” Having said that you’re right all liberal cities are junk, every one from the Sanctuary city New Jersey to sanctuary city Philadelphia to sanctuary city Los Angeles To the sanctuary state of New York with free healthcare for illegals.

Isn’t there another forum for this echo chamber rhetoric?

So says the guy from detroit. ;)
Touche. :like:
I have spent quite a bit of time, though, in that part of "Alabama": Coalport, Irvona, Glasgow, Philipsburg, Madera (founded by my wife's ancestor via a Revolutionary War grant), Clearfield, Brookville, Punxsutawney, Mahaffey, Tyrone, Happy Valley, etc.
Carville's quip isn't far off.

Most of these law enforcement agencies are more about generating revenue, than safety and protection. Sad time we live in.
Don’t hate the player, hate the game. Get the law changed or follow the rules. It’s so easy bitch about the cop but he or she is paid to enforce the law. Just to clarify, the revenue generated from traffic fines doesn’t go to the L.E. agency.

I agree that’s it’s a bad law. Let’s focus how we can effect change with ineffective regulations.

Yup, it should be over in there by now. But since we're on that side topic ... is he actually saying that white people get arrested/prosecuted for stuff that black people are let off on?

Washington State law requires doors. If the vehicle left the factory with doors they are required. Tube doors will not count. Most cops don't care. It is the law.

Windshield is not required in Washington State, windshield wipers are required.
The windshield part actually makes complete sense

I live in Arizona now, one the reasons I didn't return to the Pa,NJ,NY area, is stupid over-regulation and laws; such as this.
No problems with going door-less here. I can even drive my Polaris Ranger UTV on the road here, it's even registered for on-road use.

I won't get into ticket quotas.
