Little manual labor is good for the back sometimes and builds character.
My feelings are fine, how people treat wildlife is a major indicator of being a human to me.I stand by my statement, seagulls are pest and nothing of value was lost. If that hurts your feelings I don't really care.
When I taught my son his first shooting lesson with a BB gun he spotted a bird and somehow got it. When he proudly ran and got his first “kill” I asked You gonna eat it ?. When he said “No”, — Then why did you shoot it ? He has never forgotten that lesson and used it on his sons.My feelings are fine, how people treat wildlife is a major indicator of being a human to me.
And others.
I’ve also worked with people that graduated from college with honors, but in the real world were dumber than dirt.
I work with a guy who has a bachelor's in sports medicine, passed all three of his Texas CDL permit tests the first try with very little study, but can't seem to succeed in his current role with the company, and because of his tenure, they can't seem to get rid of him.I've worked with people who didn't graduate from college and were dumber than dirt.
I think it goes without saying that education does not always equate to intelligence. On the flip side, dumb people are just dumb...there are plenty of low-information idiots.
next time a cop shoots someone im going to ask him the same thing. Good life lessons being learned here todayWhen I taught my son his first shooting lesson with a BB gun he spotted a bird and somehow got it. Wondered if someone was everIs that worse than just feeding them Alka Seltzers?
The problem I have with "coastal" nesting area, is it appears from all the birds that make it WAY inland, that they are paying zero attention to their "range" as the conservationists mark it out. Either the seagulls aren't playing by anyone's rules, they're sneaky and nest in sneaky places to fool the conservationists, or as I suspect, they are in fact smarter than the conservationists. They managed to get themselves on a protected list when there are in fact by last count, a complete fuckload of seagulls in the world.Seagulls are protected throughout the US under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918. This protection is due to their coastal nesting habitats being potentially under threat, which could impact their population numbers if breeding grounds are destroyed.
The Migratory Bird Treaty Act is shared conservation legislation between the United States, Canada, Mexico, Russia and Japan, offering protection to birds with a range that extends into these countries, safeguarding against any form of destruction or harm being done to the birds, their nests or their eggs.
One of the articles I read commented on them not being “Hunted or Fished”, as silly as that sounds, I have caught a few of them fuckers fishing.especially when trolling for Salmon, if you don’t get your bait down FAST, them bastards will grab your bait, and sometimes get hooked. I don’t like it, and try to avoid it, but sometimes you just can’t help it
Yeah, definitely driving through a flock of them, with the Intent to injure or kill them is without any doubt Illegal, and it Should be.

He may be smarter than you think. lolHe does just enough to keep his job, but screws up enough simple things to make my boss hate him!!
Look those guys up on YouTube. But for the guitarist, far right, the other three look positively elderly now...way out of sync for an 80s-era band.
When I was running store door delivery we were sent an unrequested driver. He had a BA in something math related but didn’t have enough common sense to run a 6 wheel route truck. Missed stops, returned with product he had no idea where it was supposed to be delivered, took him forever and often didn’t complete his route, lost, mashed, or damaged hand trucks- 3 in one day with two of them borrowed from accounts once. The boss wasn’t allowed to fire him… he was the Company Lawyer’s Son.I work with a guy who has a bachelor's in sports medicine, passed all three of his Texas CDL permit tests the first try with very little study, but can't seem to succeed in his current role with the company, and because of his tenure, they can't seem to get rid of him.

Honestly we were all shocked he had a college degree. He's cool as hell, but honestly a total airhead. He may be smarter than you think. lol
Also, that sounds like quite a contrast in skills. Educated in Sports Medicine, but apparently works as a driver (CDL?). It's interesting to hear how people end up in the jobs they hold.
This comes as no surprise to me, I've met people with a college degree that couldn't pour piss out of a boot without reading instructions on the bottom of the heel.Honestly we were all shocked he had a college degree. He's cool as hell, but honestly a total airhead.
