I ordered premium cloth in my Sahara after a bit of rolling it around in my head.
I like the look of leather but pretty much everything else I prefer cloth.
One thing I'm worried about is stains and longevity of the cloth due to water/dirt etc.
Was thinking of trying something like "scotch guard auto" anyone have any insight/experience?

Used Scotch guard (the regular fabric one since its exactly the same as the auto one but fabric costs less) on my sister's Civic. My rule of thumb is to reapply 2-3x/yearly (depending on how much you use the car)

No complaints, apply as directed (probably in the summer or if you have a garage) and let it sit overnight with the windows open to air the car out

It's not dummy proof but will offer sufficient protection to regular staining

Scotch guard, sounds simple and old school but works the best.

Have you considered seat covers? Bartact makes some amazing covers. They can be cleaned with water and a sponge or they are machine washable if they get really bad.

They make a ceramic coating for your interior. They have a lot of great reviews, and videos showing its durability.

I have not used it, but plan to when I get one next year.

Ive read that waterproofing sprays like scotch guard dont last that long and you have to keep re-spraying frequently, is this true?

Anyone has seat covers that compatible with side airbags in the seat? Curious if there are anything available.

I have premium cloth and love it. I am not really worried about it as my last set took a beating and still looked great years later, but I may give DetraPel a try as it looks like a good product at repelling spills to avoid any stains

Check out Bartact. They have front seat covers and they are side airbag compatible. Not sure when their rear seat covers will be coming out.
