How'd it do with quieting the cabin?

Honestly, it made no difference with respect to wind noise at highway speeds. The fact is that no JL headliner kit will cover enough area to accomplish that.

What it did really help with was the reverb or acoustics within the Jeep. Before the headliners, my kids screaming in the backseat physically hurt my ears. After the headliners, it went from painful to just annoying, haha. So that's worth it in my mind. Helped with the sound quality of the stereo as well.

Installed my Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit, and CHMSL kit. The install was really straightforward. Jeep and Mopar did a great job prepping the Jeep for an easy install, providing good technical documentation, and minimizing the install time. I put the big tire on there just for the pic. I haven't put on my lift yet, so I haven't been carrying the 37" spare. The kit uses the factory tire carrier, and just relocates it up a little, so the 37 clears the bumper with about a half inch of space. The CHMSL kit is plug and play.

Did you disconnect the neg lead on the battery for the 3rd brake light install like manual says or no. there are others here that say you don't need to disconnect battery if Jeep is off. Want to install mine this weekend and was wondering what you did.

Nope. It's a plug and play connector, so there's no need to disconnect the battery.

Did you install these yourself? I've heard some of the brackets make for a challenging install...
I did install them myself and you heard right. The design is solid, but the QA/QC from RH seems to be a little lacking. I had to employ my ratchet straps a couple times to get bolt holes to line up properly, and I'm definitely NOT looking forward to whenever I have to take these off for any reason.

I'll be doing a full write-up on my experiences here, which will be published at www.c4x4.com, so keep an eye out there!

How are the Rock Slide steps working? I was looking closely at them and comparing the to the Amps.
