Bill has the 2nd Jeep JLU EcoDiesel that we've modified this week. He made the trip down from Sedona and had the Jeep delivered to our shop directly by the Jeep dealership.

As we posted earlier in the week, the diesel JL requires different front coil springs in order to compensate for the added weight of the heavier 3.0 motor vs the 3.6 or 2.0 engines. Because of that, we worked with Rock Krawler Suspension to receive their brand new diesel specific lift system. We're also working closely with Falcon Shocks as they develop a front diesel-specific line of 3 Series shocks. For the time being, we paired the RK suspension with a set of temporary 2.1s up front and 3.3s in the rear, which can be adjusted with 8 different compression settings and will match the front 3.3s when available.

Next, a set of 37x13.50R17 STT Pros from Cooper Tire were mounted on 17" Kelso Black Rhino Wheels that we custom colored red to match the rest of the Jeep's new accents. The red was also carried into the front and rear Spicer Parts heavy duty differential covers.

Up front, a WARN winch plate was installed in the factory steel bumper, to make room for a VR EVO 10-S winch, capped with a Factor 55 E-Link. A pair of LED Pro Spots from Rigid Industries - LED Lighting were mounted to a couple factory holes in the bumper. At the cowl, a set of Rugged Ridge brackets were installed and mounted with a couple more Rigid lights in the form of Dually Side Shooters.

For side armor, electric slider steps from Rock Slide Engineering were mounted and then wired up to a bypass switch for selective control. Finally, a Rugged Ridge heavy duty tire carrier will ensure the spare tire is safely carried while retaining the factory 3rd brake light.

This is a very nice build. Congrats. It is a bit over the top for me personally and for my needs but I can really appreciate the thought and work that has gone into this. Well done.
