Hi everyone
I been experiencing some problems with my 2018 jl
One of them is the climate control panel won’t work right away once in a while. It would take a few seconds to work after starting the jeep
The other problem is I been getting this message on the dash that says auxiliary switch unavailable battery charging
So I don’t know if it’s doing it because of the tazer
I have the tazer to make my DRL lights work

Thanks

I would check my battery(ies) and charging system since that's where the evidence leads (dash message).

I haven't had Mopar batteries (in my other vehicles) last more than 3 years (only got a year out of my last two and didn't even take the free warranty replacement for the third one--my time is valuable).

You could unmarry/remove the Tazer and see if the problem clears and while you're at it, update the firmware if you haven't done so in a while.

My thinking is the small battery is going bad, I suggest replacing both.

While you might be seeing issues with the Tazer I think the root cause is probably your batteries. The Aux Switch Unavailable message is an early bad battery symptom along with ESS not activating. If you still have the original 2018 batteries, they're about due for replacement.

Always replace both batteries even if one still tests OK. When one goes it takes out the other. Best to start the clock fresh with both.

As other have mentioned, this is early indications of one or both of you batteries going bad.

So I don’t know if it’s doing it because of the tazer
What hasn't been mentioned is to remove your Tazer and see if the issues go away. Generally, if you marry the Tazer, make changes and perform the reboot and sleep cycles, you should not have any issues. However, if you miss a step and don't reboot properly or do the sleep cycles properly, the Tazer can cause the dash cluster (where your speedometer is) to stay awake. This will cause battery drain.
