Yea being comfortable is always #1 at the end of the day you know your skills and comfort level dont let anyone push you into something youre not comfortable diving.
Usually I'm the one trying to push myself into trying something and I'd say I maybe have a 10% success rate on that so I may just be my own worst enemy. 🤣

I try to always at least put tires on anything and have only backed away from things that Ive seen others with similar builds fail, or the obstacle already started over my bumper

And good thing that the Gate was way easier than people make it out to be cause getting out the way you get in would have been super interesting as well lol

I’ve driven up the entrance to Hells Gate a couple of times, definitely more challenging than the exit.
I do admit I stopped at the bottom of the exit for a solid 5 minutes before I went up though.

I cramped up when I saw him connect the tow rope to his tow ball.
Not that I would use a tow ball for recovery but there’s a big difference in using it to gently tow like they did and using the ball as a connection point when taking full advantage of a kinetic rope or strap.

Not bad for a front wheel drive car, wonder how an all-wheel drive version would have done.

Congrats on being the first to describe anything in that video with the term "gently"!
