This should be a piece of cake with any Wrangler.

Or a Taco, Bronco, or whatever. Hell, even a Crown Vic has done it. But holy shit, a Prius?

Edit: posted before watching the video. Damn, he attempted some extremely challenging obstacles. Attempted.

He had more confidence that I had when I was there. I didn't even attempt Hell's Gate.

I also had the thought in the back of my mind that I had to drive the thousand miles home in a usable vehicle.

My friends and I used to tear shit up, too (but not out west). It's fun when you don't care. It is probably even more fun when you can get some youtube clicks and make a few bucks off it. Maybe I should be more impressed but all I see is someone tearing up a vehicle by taking it someplace it shouldn't be. Fun to watch a Prius getting abused, though.

Hells Gate was a big nothing burger. I walked right up it even with a slight off line moment and quick correction. More people that have a decent spotter with them need to take the chance to do it if its something youre interested in.

Yep. You just drive right up and have your spotter guide you over the one little bump and it's all good.

The escalator, on the other hand, is a challenge.

Yea I didnt do anything out there that I would consider difficult other than Hamburger Hill on Kanes Creek. And a lot of that was the fact that you are off camber towards the edge the whole time.

Everything else is pretty point and shoot compared to wheeling back east where you have to hope the Jeep doesnt decide it wants to go over the rock next to you all of the sudden.

Needs some better bumpers, approach and departure angle are BS. But it's more reliable than a 4xe.... So it has that going for it.

I did go up it as a passenger to see how it was before deciding and I felt if I had attempted it I'd have 100% ended up either flipped over backwards or stalled out and not able to get the Jeep started again (which has happened to me a few times at steep angles). So I noped out and have zero regrets about it.

Yea being comfortable is always #1 at the end of the day you know your skills and comfort level dont let anyone push you into something youre not comfortable diving.
