Powertop and speakers

Seems to be that when I open the powertop and what I mean by open is that when I push and the top comes out of the perch the speakers get louder. Anyone experienced this?

Completely normal, the radio changes to open top sound profile.

If you don't like the way it sounds, you can hit the close button to roll back a bit, then the sound goes back to normal.

Yes when opening the SOT roof the sound changes. I'd love to find a way to keep it in open roof mode all the time, it sounds much better.
