Usually once you agree to go forward with your order the dealer requests a deposit of around $1,000 (some dealers do more or less $$ and some may not do one at all). You should receive a VON # (Vehicle order number) about the same day, and VIN # usually around 2 business days later average. I would reach out to see if they placed the order yet, and if they did request both VON and VIN… congrats on the jeep tho!

Thank you! I will follow up today. I went out last night to see a recon in-person and I will say it's gorgeous! The stance is amazing and higher than I thought it would be, which I'm thrilled about.

Welcome! I will add: ask for a copy of your Priced Order Confirmation (POC). I have referred to mine several times to remind myself what we ordered and didn't while collecting mods during the wait—

Thank you, I've sent an email to obtain status and I believe they provided a POC which I had to initial indicating the price could go up or down prior to delivery. They made it clear, prices from the factory, not a dealer mark up. Wouldn't have sign off otherwise. The dealer I went to last night to look at an recon in person had it marked up $20k! I just laughed, walked around the recon on the lot and left.

Yes, I'm sure it wasn't a 392. The 392 in my area was marked up $30k. No joke, they had it listed for $113k. I let them know my thoughts on that and how it made me not want to work with them and or place an order. The sales guy said it was the owner who added the mark up as he was thinking about purchasing it. That's just bad business imo

And may I add, it didn't even have the extreme recon package on it. That is not standard on a 392.

I cannot stand dealer who do such large mark-ups... Local dealer wants $75k for a Geckio XR which has a MSRP of around $61k. I can understand MSRP plus doc fees and whatever but $14k plus for one... nope

And the trucking company “isn’t returning their calls/emails.” But they tell me don’t worry, it’ll be here this week. Same thing they told me last week. Starting to get pissed

Jeep Information Center sent an email updating our delivery window, back another week. Of course, our dealer had already shared the news with us last week.

It is no wonder emails from US Customer Care, Jeep Information Center all end with that phrase: Thank you for your loyalty...
