At least you’re ahead of me. I ordered Aug 19 and build was completed Dec 8. Now I’m waiting for optional equipment installation (although I thought the damn thing was built…!), inspection and shipping. I expect another 5 weeks minimum. Sounds like you might be getting a nice Christmas present.Jeep Information Center sent an email updating our delivery window, back another week. Of course, our dealer had already shared the news with us last week.
It is no wonder emails from US Customer Care, Jeep Information Center all end with that phrase: Thank you for your loyalty...

Out of curiosity what was the build date of your 392XR? Mine was built 9 days ago and still waiting for optional equipment installation, whatever the hell that means. I’m assuming it’ll sit for more weeks after equipment install pending final inspection, then another month shipping. Eff-ing ridiculous.5 months to the day since my order. Jeep is still sitting at the railyard. Been there 11 days so far. Hopefully it shows up before Christmas ?
I don't know what increases the GVW, but the XR also comes with beefier axles in addition to the beefier brakes.Hey ya'll, I have a question about the extreme recon package that I thought I would throw out here to this massive thread in hopes for some answers from peeps in the know;
What part of the recon package increases the GVW rating to 6100 lbs? I am guessing it is the beefed up brakes?
I am curious because I am planning on overlanding with my family of 6 and with gear mounted on the rhino rack (with backbone) I could be pushing the GVW rating.
I don’t remember off the top of my head but it was in November. Moved through JB after about a week. Got to Winston Salem, NC. 12/5. Jeep chat just told me estimated delivery 12/10-12/20.Out of curiosity what was the build date of your 392XR?
