My dealer ask 3K over sticker price to order a 392XR. Just curious what’s the deal you guys get?
I am buying my 2nd Rubicon from Craig at Koons in Virginia. I am ~$7k under msrp. Waiting on delivery of my XR. I am also in NY. Last time we drove down, this time we plan on flying down to get it.

Tell your dealer to eat shit.
You can get one for way under MSRP and delivered to your door for less than that.
This.

$11k under MSRP on an $87k MSRP build. That said I don't think the '22 deals are as good (i.e., invoice to 5% under invoice as opposed to 7% under invoice).

Still better either way than his dealer.
IMO, dealers(car salesmen) don't need to exist. Should be an online order, online finance, phone call of arrival/possible home delivery. None of this price gouging BS.

Yea that business model is super antiquated. It'll go away eventually.

I find this hard to believe. A 392XR for $11k under msrp? Not saying you’re lying but I’ve searched, granted not to the extent that others have, but have never seen this much discount especially since the TL affiliate pricing ended.

it is entirely possible to save that much when the MSRP is $87k. Take 6% off invoice and it works out to around $11k or more.

I would like to see the math on that?

So base invoice according to Edmunds Is about 73k On an almost 78k MSRP. Even if we add 10k for options, not seeing how we get to 11k?

Unlimited Rubicon 392$77,695$73,319

1% under invoice for my deal of 67k+ (Wife’s Rubicon XR) was about 5k Off MSRP. Not saying you cant get 11k off a 392, but I want to see the math...

$87365 - MSRP

$82051 - invoice

$77948 - 5% under invoice

$821 - 1% AR # (affiliates)

$821 - 1% financing kick back

$76307 - 7% under invoice

----

$11,058 under MSRP.

More than likely my AR won't be honored (rightfully so), so technically it would bump the discount and you'd see $10,237 under MSRP instead. Time will tell. $11,058 was the agreed upon price under MSRP prior to FCA changing it's mind. My order was placed 7/5.

I’m not in this hunt but. Let’s use your numbers.
73k inv. 78k msrp. Add 9k options msrp =87k. Add 8k for option (invoice cost for options) = 81k invoice. Now take approx 5k off at 6% = 76k. 87k-76k=11k 🤷‍♂️
