It looks like there are 2 XR Rubicon upgrades. Is it true that the red rubicon next to the lime green also a upgraded package? This was the best picture I could get of a XR Rubicon next to a non XR rubicon.
Id say so, you can see the extra little fender flair thing on the green jeep.It looks like there are 2 XR Rubicon upgrades. Is it true that the red rubicon next to the lime green also a upgraded package?
Downshifting while braking is a little concerning. Has anyone else experienced this? I wonder if it is a nature of the V6 etorque being a mini hybrid...... Does it feel like regenerative braking in a all electric car?Picked her up earlier today! Took it for a little country/small town drive for dinner.
It seems to downshift kind of hard when slowing down for turns or stops. Does that improve with break in?
How did you get the choice on the running board? On the Jeepsite, the only option for the rubicon was the Mopar Rockrails with step assistTwins!
Congrats!!!
I have the same concern and asked someone to measure for me. They measured it at 75". That will clear my idiotically small door by 1.25"! lol I only got the soft top, but have the hard top currently hanging in the garage from my 2019 which I will be using on the XR if it ever gets here.
I'm mechanically challenged (but ok with math, lol) so obviously your calculations are correct, but doesn't RPM also depend on which gear you are in?For those who've already received your XRs, what RPM are you registering at highway speed? I'm wondering what real world results are for the 4.56s vs. what the 4.88s will be. Per a helpful JK forum read, the 4.56 w/ 35" tires should be about 2900 RPM (35" tires rotate about 594 times/mile --> 594 x 4.56 = 2708 RPM @ 60MPH; and 4.88s would be about 2900 RPM).
Thanks in advance for any replies. Waiting for my XR order to arrive is soooooper easy ...
Mine measures 75" at the highest point. Hard top, tires at ~37 psi, plastic bumpers.Morning all...can anyone confirm the height of their XR with hard top?
I neglected to check this before ordering and am hoping I can get it into the garage to use my hoist to remove the hardtop next spring....not the end of the world though.
Thanks for the info.
I'm in a similar boat and learning as I go, so I imagine so.I'm mechanically challenged (but ok with math, lol) so obviously your calculations are correct, but doesn't RPM also depend on which gear you are in?
Anyway, I've observed about 1700-1800 RPM in 8th gear when doing 60 MPH.
Regenerative braking is probably it. I have no clue as this is my first mild hybrid anything.Downshifting while braking is a little concerning. Has anyone else experienced this? The red was the XR and the gray was the regular Rubicon. I don’t remember if the green was also XR.It looks like there are 2 XR Rubicon upgrades. Is it true that the red rubicon next to the lime green also a upgraded package?
We bought the mopar Sahara steps from the dealer and they installed before we picked up. We did have to drive home with the rock rails in a box sitting on the center armrest but it wasn’t a big deal. How did you get the choice on the running board? On the Jeepsite, the only option for the rubicon was the Mopar Rockrails with step assist
