At the time of my order there were unknown delays and I didn’t want to delay my build. My insurance is also $0 glass deductible so I opted for a quicker build (on my mind). But it seems that some of those backlogs are taken care of based on other deliveries.

I may try one of those glass ppf things to protect it if I find I’m going through too many windshields, or even see if I can upgrade later.

Also just remembered my JK had 60k miles on the original windshield so maybe I’ll get lucky?

Makes sense. I would have done the same and I’ve got a terrible track record with windshields

Daddy always said it was better to be lucky than smart: 106,243 on my third JKUR windshield. Of course, I do live a bit out of town, near a limestone quarry. Apparently, I am neither—

I am approaching the frustration level....along with many others like you.
8 weeks into the order and back to gathering parts today.
Twice I have moved up to "all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received, The vehicle should be entering the build process soon"
Now its backwards again. to gathering parts.
I think Jeep Chat is going to be the death of me...

Just called - it will be there today. He’s going to send pictures when the truck gets there. Can’t go tomorrow but will shoot down Thursday.

Concerning- he said a lot of them have been damaged in transit. I’m going to be REALLY pissed off if this happens.

My 2021 JLUR-D was damaged in transit. the dealer said the sake thing to me, a lot of new vehicles are coming in with scrapes etc. Mine was minor, but others are nit so lucky.

My 2021 JLUR-D was damaged in transit. the dealer said the sake thing to me, a lot of new vehicles are coming in with scrapes etc. Mine was minor, but others are nit so lucky.

That really sucks! Might I ask how was your damage resolved with the dealer? Did they repair it or offer discount?

This is the last thing I’d wanna deal with after waiting so long. I’m curious to as to what the damage consisted of and how the dealer handled it.
