I owe it to the people still waiting on their Jeep. I was lucky enough to take delivery in ~7 weeks. While I’m excited, i feel like I cut in line ahead of some of you. I’ll do my best to answer your questions
You certainly are a gentleman and I think I speak for everyone here when I say thanks to you and all the others whom have posted pictures and answered questions while we wait impatiently.

Oh boy, it’s gonna be tight at the back there. Depending on how you hold the camera you can fudge that measurement. But this is as close to “my eye” as I can get. About an inch

So, just notice the side profile of the BFG, it tapers in at the edges so maybe if you stick with something “rounded” it would be okay. Looks like 1.5” just eyeballing that gap.

While we're on tires... How's the power w/ 3.6e/4.56/35s? You feel it'll handle 37s or 38s? or need to go steeper gears?

I know the new transmissions are a world of difference from my TJ(4.0/35s/4.56), but I only got to test drive sports before I ordered.

My freakin wife drove it home. Also it’s in break in period. Also also, my last Jeep was a manual with 35s and 3.45s.
That being said I’m leaving the gearing as is. I don’t think I’ll ever feel the need to change it. I’ve had a 4.10 rubicon off road with 37s and it was fine

You shouldn’t need two inches of clearance to clear a tire that’s two inches bigger. The tire is round and extends out from the center so one inch on each side. Only need one inch of clearance for the bumper.

Am I right with that thinking?

Yes, but... Everyone measures different... Not all 37" tires are the same size.

Some tires are "rounder", like he stated, some have wider shoulders.

And those 35's in the photo are actually like 34.4". It's going to be tight with 37's.

Correct, 1” extra space for 2” tire

We're all wondering how the wheels are going to look with our colors. Safe to say the wheel/tire package works with Red. Congrats!!
We sure are! I decided to play it safe and purchase a set of black Mopar bead-lock-capable wheels. Having the rings powder coated to match the black. Now I am almost thinking twice about that decision though... oh well! If anyone knows someone looking for a set of the new XR wheels send them my way!
