Doing a oil change and noticed oil seepage. Wouldn’t say it’s leaking or any were on the bottom. Coming from the top passenger side? Any idea what it could be from?
Dealer is 2 weeks booked. Next closest is 45 minutes.

Not a rear main leak. Something else.

Have the same issue right now. Let me know if you figure it out.
been looking and reading. Another guy on here took same pictures and said it was the oil separator. Thinking on my days off I may take my fender liner out. And see if I can see anything

If the rear main leaks, it would get wet at those rubber plugs first.

It's probably the Oil/Air Separator, which is on the back side of engine, towards the passenger side. If it is the OAS, you won't be able to see it by removing the wheel well liner. It's covered by the powertrain warranty and takes at least a full day for R&R.

My dealer did a dye test first to confirm the origin of leak, then had to wait 10 days for the part. I was able to still drive it however. Just check your oil level periodically.

okay I appreciate it! I’ll keep a eye on it. I can’t get it in till the 19th of next month which is crazy. I know how mod friendly they are.
