I did a 200 miles mpg run, and achieved 34.86 mph from (the pump) on my EcoDiesel, I was trying to see who else had super high MPG's, but was met with non-reputable numbers, and trolls instead. Seeing the future of the thread was bleak, I decided to disassemble it into a please delete thread.

I guess that's what I get for always making jokes in everyone elses threads, should expect fair treatment in my own. ??

Oh, ok it was with the diesel, that makes sense now. I have never had any experience with them.

Your logic is this:
I got 260 mpgs and I only had to drive 25 mi to do it.

If we're just pulling numbers out of our butt today, bro I just got 6,141 MPGs.

In September I drove 600 miles on 3 gallons of gas, cost $20 Canadian dollars.

In my 15mpg 3.6JL that 600 miles would have cost me about $250.

mpg isn't a calculation that should be used in a PHEV, also comparing the 4xe to other models is apples to oranges, they are vastly different power plants, and are meant to be used very differently.

If the majority of your driving is highway then perhaps a 4xe isn't the best for economy, if you are doing the odd road trip, then it's a none issue and the power is amazing on the highway.

Pssst you are not pulling around a generator in a 4xe, the engine is always generating 375 horses and 470 pound‑feet of torque when the gas motor is fired up.

How many times did you charge up your battery during those 600 mi?

Quite a bit of charging, but I charge for free, even if I paid for charging it would have cost me $80 based on public charging rates, or for someone in Toronto with a home plug it would have cost $27(8-10 cents kw)

The 4xe may not suit everyone, but those of us with access to free to cheap electricity, coupled with the insane power, and superior handling, the 4xe is a great choice, personally if I don't get access to charging, I would still keep/buy a 4xe because the handling and power is significantly better than the other powerplants.
