Or purely cosmetic?I don’t understand what those green things on the shock are….do they just alter the spring rate to give you a stiffer shock?

I was also thinking, a Jeep in rough shape, throwing dirt rooster tails! The toothless driver giving a hang ten or peace sign. ?I'm down, it should have a dude with no teeth smiling in front of his beat to shit crappy car!![]()
Give yourself some credit, you look pretty respectable ?I'm down, it should have a dude with no teeth smiling in front of his beat to shit crappy car!![]()

Got this guy nice and clean before I reinstalled it.

Sorry but I'm gonna be that guy.Last time we used it we threw my granddaughter in that seat and drove her over to the community pool a quarter mile away. Would a cop have issue with it if he pulled us over? Probably. But that's really what the seatbelt is for. To fix any legal issues if someone is sitting in it for such a short hop.
What's the efficiency rating on those K&N oil filters?![]()
Guess it's like most things Jeep related, better to buy OEM than off brands. Do y'allselves a favor, STAY AWAY FROM THE DORMAN SECOND GEN OIL FILTER COVERS!! Spend the 50 bucks and buy Mopar!!
Yeah...K&N (like many other filters) does not publish the efficiency as tested in accordance with ISO 4548-12 and post the efficiency as xx.x% @ xx microns. They could at least post the beta numbers so that you could calculate. I suspect (and only a suspicion) that their oil filters are no more efficient than their air filters, but at a 5K OCI, the engine will never know the difference.![]()
Strangely enough, they don't seem to post this information on the K&N website. I can find micron filtration numbers for many other filters but not this specific one. However when I did purchase these initially, I was basing my choice on reviews from many different websites. Honestly they're probably not as good as the third gen oil filters, as to they don't have an oil bypass. But honestly when you get right down to it the difference is between the second gen and third gen EcoDiesels are so minute I figured it would work just fine. Especially as well since I will be changing my oil every 5,000 mi.
No worries. Everybody's entitled to their opinion.
I grew up riding in the truck bed of my uncles trucks with my cousins for many miles at a go. And with my friends doing much more dangerous things than that in my teenage years. Nowadays, everyone's so uptight about what if's. "What if a drunk driver comes along at 60 miles an hour at 9am in a private residential community and we get struck and she dies?" Well, in that scenario, I figure, half the size casket, half the price!
