Absolutely. Here's my license plate:

That’s awesome. Mine was KAFER69, that’s how I found out the only way you were allowed to have 69 in your license plate was if it was on a 1969 model year, or if it was just a random coincidence on a standard plate.

I used to drive to Temecula and meetup with the Herr Cooled club and do that same drive in my VW bug. Great drive but 190 miles in an oldie and you’re either broke down or smell like oil ?

sometimes it felt like it was more expensive than your Porsche!
I had one of those! A 1976 Super Beetle. Take it to the gas station - fill the oil, check the gas ?

Always was a German (VW) car fan:
  1. 1976 Super Beetle
  2. 1975 VW Van w/Westfalia conversion
  3. 1971 Karman Ghia convertible
  4. 1994 Jetta
  5. 1993 Corrado VR6

Nice! Great group of cars. One day I’ll get back into it with a notch back, but the price on those things is nuts right now. Plus between having a wife, 2 Jeeps, a boat and a Nova, not much room in the bank account for another toy!

We won’t even mention the double cab that’s been on my wishlist for 20 years ?

Yes, that crunch is forever burned into my brain. On the plus side, I'm now rocking the soft top life while I hone my fiberglass repair skills ?

Jeep looks awesome. Loving those recessed tail lights. Soft top looks great too! Safari mode rocks

i didnt even notice those. very subtle. they look really good.
One was hanging out, while the other got a little scraped after the Squeeze. I def see the benefit to this mod. @Craigger do they retain the blind spot monitoring by chance?

They say they do and you move over the radar sensors to the new tail lights but they definitely don't work as well. Doesn't really bother me but if you really depend on this feature you may want to think twice about this solution.

Solid compromise either way. If I ever wreck mine, I'll likely go in this direction
