I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
I'd like to see JL/JLU with 255/85/17 tires if you have 'em.

I used to have a set of KM2s on a WK Grand Cherokee. The skinny tires worked great in the snow of upstate NY.

stock suspension? any rubbing? I am picking up a new Rubicon tomorrow and just want to run stock wheels so these tires seem like the best 35's for that.

I have a JLR running 255/80/17 (33 inches) so thinking that 255/85/17 (34 inches) shouldn't be an issue seeing that stock rubi tires are 33 inches (285/70/17).

Bottom line is pizza cutters rock, never understood the wide tire craze as old school jeeps did everything on 6-7 inch tread. Best I can do nowadays is 10 inch with the 255's

I have had 255/80-17(falken at3w) on my jkur and they are quite a bit shorter than the 85's series. I also like pizza cutters and have run ko2 in 34x10.5-17 and Toyo at3 in 35x11.5-17 but the Micky thompson 255/85-17 is taller yet.

Yes. Stock suspension, factory wheels, no rubbing *at all* but I haven't gone full flex off road so I can't vouch for what they'll do when the going gets fun yet. I'll try to take and post some better pics.

any chance I can have you take two measurements for me? from center of the hub to the ground and with a flat ruler on top of the tire to the ground? thanks in advance.

I can confirm that the MTBBATs are a true 34.6" diameter, measured unloaded.

Sure. I'll get those for you tomorrow. M/T says they're 34.6 tall. It'll be interesting to see the real world measurements

I would be happy with 33.5". that is about what most 35's end up being.

From the ground to the center of the hub, 16.5"
2021 JLUR, 2.0L, Sky One Touch, steel front bumper, no winch yet
Tires are inflated to 30#
Ambient temperature, 36°F

Hope you enjoy the tires
