Hello, I am replacing my 245's for 255 Mud tires, my question is, can I use my existing stock steel rims on the new tires?

yes. A 255/75r17 will fit on the same rim the stock 245's fit.

FYI: There is also a 255/80 just to compare sizes, if a little taller is something you might be interested in.

255/75R17 = 32.1/10R17

255/80R17 = 33.3/10R17

255/75R17 is also the stock size for Willys trims, Wrangler and Gladiator. So there should be a lot of new take offs in that size on the cheap. They're going to be Firestone Destination MT2s or BF Goodrich KM2s.
