I’ve been doing some research and have watched a few videos on this specific radio and I think I’m about to just green light it and try it out. I’ve had 2 different linkswell radios in the last year and while they are alright, I need something better. The quick start up, the Android 10, the oem settings in this radio are intriguing. You can also use your oem mic for Bluetooth, and the wifi adapter in the radio is 5GHZ and not 2.4. Anybody else purchased this radio? What’s the reviews?

I’m watching this thread, I was sold on Stinger Heigh10 because the insane audio just looked a little cheap and homebrew

I have the Phoenix system in my F150… looks pretty cool, and you can play YouTube which the kids love. But… it’s glitchy. Jumps radio stations and connecting to Wi-Fi isn’t always reliable, also, when playing YouTube the screen minimizes. Mine is a couple years old so they may have the software in better condition. It’s still cool but my wife hates it.

Avoid them, I placed an order at the beginning of October after I called them and they confirmed they had in stock. Long story short, they lied and did not have in stock. After not receiving my radio after 3 weeks I finally got through to a manager who admitted they didn't have any in stock and that china was back ordered due to lack of parts and could be 6 months before I received. I canceled and ordered one directly from china on aliexpress. Ordered it Monday and it is scheduled for delivery Tuesday. Phoenix is a PX6 radio.

What I ordered.

Let us know when you get it. Will you do a front camera?

I got it in today. I am not adding a front camera, but it does support it. I am waiting to install until this weekend as I ordered a connector to allow me to use the vehicle GPS instead of the included one. I will try to document the install process for all and link it here.

I for one will be waiting for your comments on the install.

Watching this one as well. Upgrading the raido/speakers is one of my first projects when the 22' arrives. Can anyone confirm if these are compatible with apple carplay?

Though I'm not overly familiar with this brand, but I've been a paid and diy stereo installer for the last 30ish years. In my opinion, these types of radios are nothing but a headache. I wouldn't install it if you brought it into my shop. I've used nearly every named brand radio in the past (including the JK Alpine restyle units) with varying results, but nothing but problems in the long run with these off shore brands. Like someone else noted, glitchy behaviors, odd hardware/option interfaces and non-existent tech support. I like the Stinger radios, and will put one in my wife's JL if she decides to swap the OEM radio.

I did receive mine and installed it Friday. It was removed today. While there were some great features about it, there were some deal breakers. The rear camera would only work some times, the microphone was horrible, the 4g wouldn't connect and the software was glitchy.

Do you happen to have the user manual still? I just bought a jeep with this radio in it and it’s not very user friendly.
