Passenger Mirror Tilt on Reverse

Do any of you know if the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited comes with this function???

With the bigger tires I really could use this mirror tilt function.

With the bigger tires I really could use this mirror tilt function.

I have test driven one and it did not nor do I recall reading / hearing about this feature being added.

With that being said on my JK I use a 2 or 3 inch convex mirror in the bottom outside corner. It works great for being able to keep my side views at optimal position while driving and using those convex aimed toward side bottom of jeep for backing up into spaces etc.

I love this option on the European cars, really wished it was more standard on North American cars.

Yes, you are right. Page 540 of the user manual mentions it. Tomorrow I will take a look and let you know.

I don't have the Sahara, but I checked on my Rubicon and it does not have this option in uconnect.

I had it on a previous owned car and it was a nice feature. Maybe with the backup camera they decided it was a redundancy and or like others said it will be in a later model.

I’ve used this on a previous car and it worked perfectly. It’s supposed to be universal but I would contact Kevin and ask about feasibility for the JL before installing it.

the manual also mentions rain sensing auto wipers, which we don't have. i think they were just too lazy and never bothered changing it when making the manual for the JL.

the manual also mentions vented seats in the remote start section....unfortunatly I don't think it has that feature either.

If you use RainX auto wipers are a pain. The auto lower right mirror on reverse helps. Wish it was a unconnected option! Maybe give to us instead of off-road pages

It might be available on a future update. I think it could be solved by a software command.
