I picked up a Rough Country Stabilizer, installed as per directions.
Wandering solved and it feels much more stable.
We had a little over 600 Miles on the OEM stabilizer, maybe it would have broken in a bit more over time or maybe not?
I can say my wife, who wouldn't normally notice this...
I just ordered a Canvasback cargo cover. I like the look of it, hopefully it doesn't disappoint. I'll report back when I've installed it.
It's pricey, but I'm a sucker for well made custom built gear.
Not all 33's are made equal, without knowing the actual tire size its impossible to know.
Previous posts in this thread say 33's don't rub, but those were 275/70/18 on the upgraded Jeep rims.
If Jed has a wider and taller tire installed, then it may be why it's rubbing.
A buddy was recently sharing a story of his late model F150.
His truck had been sitting for a few weeks in the cold and his battery died. (Happens to the best of us)
The huge problem was that his door couldn’t be unlocked.
From what he shared, the key hole in his door didn’t actually...
I'm keen to put on a dirty big bumper on the front of my Jeep as well.
There were many versions of tubular bumpers that provided great coverage for the front end of the JK. I'm sure the aftermarket companies will be hard at work adapting them for the JL, for now its a waiting game.
I have the same question.
These tires indicate 8-10" Rims are suitable, with 8.5" being the preferred size.
Obviously they fit, but are there long term problems with this configuration?
Those look really great! Thanks for sharing.
They look like they're a great fit. You didn't have to do any suspension changes?
No contact with wheelwells etc?
255 includes the sidewall, or at least a portion of the sidewall. The width of the tread making contact with the road is different.
Do some browsing on tirerack or another tire site, they will break down the data a little further for you.
The stock tire is 255/70R18 - the tread width varies...
I’m leaning towards Goodyear Duratrac’s, which have a snow tire rating, but aren’t as good as a straight winter tire, so I’ll likely get a set of winter tires also.
KO2’s and Duratrac seem to be very similar. Good All Terrain tires, not as noisy as Mud Terrain, but a bit beefier than stock...
I stopped in to see Mustafa today, he was very helpful. I just missed Gus and a few others by half hour. Would have been nice to meet yas.
We took the Sahara out for a test drive and built a Sahara for Order. I’m tying up a few loose ends. I suspect I’ll place an order before the end of the...
Hey guys,
I'm ready to order a graphite Sahara, but I've been told that colour isn't available for Canadian orders yet.
It looked an awful lot like a Graphite Jeep in the pictures posted above, so maybe I'm in luck.
I will reach out to Mustafa to touch base about getting the jeep rolling...
On the Canadian order guide it lists Granite as a colour option, but it isn't available to order just yet.
Are US customers able to order Granite JL's yet?
Will the release of Granite be timed with the additional late release colours?
